Great location, nice place
This was a great space for 3 couples. We had lots of room and everything we needed for a long weekend away. The location is excellent and we were able to walk everywhere. We enjoyed our stay in Quebec!
The apartment is as advertised. Great location and a very interesting apartment. All six of us were very happy with our stay
We really enjoyed our stay here! The location is fantastic - it is right next to a grocery store and down the road from great cafes and restaurants. The common areas are outfitted with great furniture and are great for a group trip.
An ideal location. A unique residence. An accommodating host. If you want to really experience Old Quebec, it's history, charm, and the local atmosphere, this is a great place to stay.
The house is absolutely beautiful, the stone basement is exceptionally unique. Would highly recommend.
This place is an amazing find. The location is wonderful and the condo itself is clean, comfortable and well equipped. Definitely a great place to spend your time in Quebec City.
Beautiful place, very conveniently located. Everything is a few minutes walk
An amazingly beautiful place in a perfect location in old Quebec. Incredible to sleep in 200 year old bedrooms. This is our now go to place to stay in Quebec City!
Location location location! If you are looking to stay in Old Quebec, we couldn’t recommend this location enough. You are just a short walk to any of the attractions, there’s a parking garage nearby, a store right next door, a restaurant on the corner, etc. The condo was a great size for 4 adult guests and could easily accommodate more. The historical character of the home and all of the furnishings really added to the experience of visiting Quebec City. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone looking to visit Old Quebec, especially to those who love the character of older homes and want to be in an excellent location.
Fantastic location and beautifully appointed. Everything you could want is at your door step.
Paul's place is located in the heart of Old Quebec. The location was amazing, we had many, many, restaurants and shops steps from our front door. Frontenac and the funicular are also very, very close, almost across the street. Parking is not easy if you have a car, but we had a roof rack on top which didn't allow us to fit in any parking garages. The best place I found to park were the surface lots along the river near the Place Royal. Unloading and loading was great right in front of the home.
This is a stunning and elegant historic home very centralized and within walking distance to everything as well as core to the history of the city. We had a wonderful time.
The location of this house could not be more ideal if you want to be just outside of all the action in the Old City. It comfortably fits/sleeps up to 6 in 3 cozy bedrooms and the upstairs is spacious to hang out during any time of the day. Paul was great with communication leading up to and during our stay, including accommodating an early check-in. Our family trip could not have gone better with making this our home base, we highly recommend this house for anyone visiting Quebec City as the value is excellent
Location, location, location!! The apartment could not have been in a better spot- a block from all shopping and restaurants and walking distance to everything. Place was charming and hosts were responsive. Perfect for a small group
This place is in the historic city center close to all the sites. We walked everywhere! Lovely home with everything for your stay.
Very nice place with good location in old city, walk to all view around couple mins. historic building with good taste., all room aera comfortable and warmly. we have a great trip in your property. Thank you so much.
The listing is very comfortable and in a quiet area within the Old Town of Quebec City. The location was perfect. The kitchen is well-equipped as are the bathrooms. The living area is spacious and bedrooms are comfortable. A small grocery store located next door has most things you will need. People with mobility issues might have difficulty navigating the steps down to the bedroom area. They are well-lit, but a little awkward.
Nice place. Great location!!
We spent four nights at Paul's place and had an amazing time. The apartment is in the best possible location, where you are able to walk to virtually anywhere you plan to go. The apartment was clean and is exactly like you see in the pictures. The check in was easy. Julie and Sarah were helpful and polite. We loved your city! Thank you.
Great location. Very clean.easy check in/check out process.
Can’t beat the location! Very buttoned up experience with owner
Great place to stay in Old Quebec. Close to everything. We enjoyed our stay.
Thank you for a wonderful springboard for our experience in Quebec City. Your place was truly unique and perfectly situated to explore the old city and the rich history, sites, sounds and food that abounds. Wonderful!
Fantastic location and a very nice place.
We stayed for a weekend at Paul’s apartment next door to the Ursuline Monastery. I don’t think we could have a better location than this. The property is two levels with a large dining, living, and kitchen area above and three bedrooms below. There is room for entertaining. We hosted a group between a wedding ceremony at cathedral Notre-Dame and the reception at the seminary. A small grocer is two doors down. The apartment is old, stone walled, with larger glass windows. We enjoyed our stay and will return.
Paul's place was in a perfect location to explore the old City on foot. We were able to walk to all the main attractions with our small children and their 72 year old grandmother. There are numerous restaurants within 100m and a small grocery store almost next door. Inside, we loved the decor that matched the historical style of the apartment. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals. The beds were all comfortable and the oversize lounge seat and ottoman made a perfect bed for our two year old.
Great place and location. Close to all the places to visit.
Lovely home in heart of old town. Spacious and well appointed. Our family was very comfortable. We stayed for 5 nights. A great family reunion.
Great location and lots of space
Paul's house is very lovely and nicely decorated. We appreciated your art pieces throughout the house. The location is great. The kitchen was sufficient for our quick breakfast during our stay. Able to walk around the town at night after all of the tourists were gone was like walking back in time.
Bonjour! Myself and 5 other ladies stayed at Paul’s place last weekend on our first trip to old Quebec. We were met with a Luckey representative at the time scheduled. She was lovely. Gave us the tour of the residence and all the amenities. She went over everything we needed to know about the care of the residence and how to return the key. She covered everything and even had a few suggestions for us on what to see during our stay. We were celebrating a 50th birthday during our stay. Paul’s place was so much better than a hotel, as we were able to enjoy each other’s company at his gorgeous and large dining table and lounge in the living area. The kitchen was very functional for making coffee and cooking meals. Grocery store was just a 30 second walk from the front door. So practical! Bedrooms were spacious and clean and the 2 bathrooms served 6 ladies well! The residence exceeded our expectations and the location can’t be beat! I highly recommend Paul’s place! All the major sights are so convenient on foot from this home. I would most definitely stay here again as I hope to visit Quebec again soon!
hank you Paul! Your place was very comfortable and stylish. Our family of 5 had plenty of space to spread out and decompress from our travels. We very much enjoyed opening the windows to hear the sounds of Quebec. The large dining room table was the perfect place to plan our adventures. Thank you for everything!
You could not find a more perfect location for your stay in Quebec City. The house is one block from the Chateau Frontenac, the Fort Museum, the Tourist Information Bureau, shops, restaurants etc. There is a small convenience (grocery) store just next to the house. They do sell wine but with a very limited selection. In Quebec City you have to go outside the walls to purchase good wine and liquor at an SAQ store, take a taxi or Uber. Next door to the convenience store is a small restaurant that is very nice, we ate there a number of times and they even sold us a baguette one night when we could not find a bakery open (try the deer stew, it was wonderful).
I am very sensitive to mold/mildew/fragrances and I did not have a problem, one other in our group did have problems with her allergies when she was in the house but I could not identify the issue. There is a lock box in the lobby with the house key, very convenient when you have a number of people going their own way and not enough keys to go around. We did not have a car so I cannot advise you on the parking issue.
Directly across the street is the Ursuline Monastery which is definitely worth an hour or so visit. We really thought that was one of the best historic visits we made. Also important is a visit to the Fort Museum and the 30 minute presentation on the history of Quebec. It is a lovely home in a great location and I am sure you are going to enjoy it very much.
Location location location. You can not have a better place to explore Old Town Quebec. The apt is spacious and clean. The beds are comfortable but firm. Be aware that one bathroom is upstairs and and all bedrooms are down. The stairwell is tight and narrow and can make some people a bit nervous. That said I have no hesitation recommending this apartment
This place is tremendous. We felt like we were in Paris. Super clean and so roomy. A small store for necessities next door and several comfy and reasonably priced bistros within 500 M. I hope it is available when we return to Quebec City next trip, if it is we will try to stay here
Everything was great! The place is amazing! We have a lot of space in a luxurious setting in the best possible location in Old Quebec. Truly perfect. The only thing I missed was a conversation with a local resident (a believe the place is managed by a third party or Paul is helped by someone else) who could tell us what restaurants to go, which attractions we should not miss. I appreciated the booklets and brochures available in the house, but it is always nice to know from locals.
We had a wonderful stay here in March. The location of the home is amazing - close to absolutely everything. It’s one block from restaurants, 2 minutes from Chateau Frontenac, and there is a grocery store right next door. The home is very spacious, and charming. The host was also very responsive to our questions. If you are planning a trip to Quebec City, we would highly recommend a stay here!
My family's stay at Paul's home in haute-villle Quebec was absolutely wonderful. His home was warm, clean, and in the perfect location to explore all of old Quebec on foot.
Great apartment in a great location. Will definitely return.
This space is unbelievably located, within easy walking distance to all the wonderful sites Quebec City has to offer. We were impressed with the ease of communication, both with Paul and our contact at Luckey. We were able to check in early, which was much appreciated! Will definitely be back in the future.
The place is perfectly located in Quebec City. Great place for family and right next door to a little grocery store to grab your local needs. Lots of space and a great place for the few days we were there.
Paul’s place will put you in the heart of old Quebec City! We loved how close to everything we were. The neighborhood restaurants were fantastic!!
