Many, many thanks for the use of your fabulous apartment. It is full of its own antiques and character and is positioned perfectly in the old town. We had never been to Canada before (we usually go to France/Italy/UK) so Quebec fulfilled all of our preferences. Absolutely loved the town and will definitely come back. Again, many thanks. Regards and Happy New Year, David (Australia)

My second visit to Maison Ursulines and I can't wait to be back already. This visit, I brought my husband, two sisters and their husbands. They had a wonderful time as did too. Paul had mentioned Portofinos to us and we took his advice; So So So Good!! Pub Alexander, (rue Ste Jean) Good food and drink! St. Patrick's pub is always fun! Wine and Cheese bar at Chateau Frontenac is fun but pricey. Margaret (Indiana, USA)

We had a wonderful 50th reunion of being roommates in our Junior Year Abroad Program from Univ. of Colorado, Univ. of Kansas joint program in Bordeaux France. We really had not spent time together beyond a couple of brief encounters between us in all these years, so being in such a wonderful special home in the heart of this amazing little city truly brought us together in heart and mind. We loved every minute! Diane J. (California, USA)

We enjoyed our brief but pleasant stay in Quebec City. Location was wonderful. It was an anniversary trip with our adult children. The residence had room for everyone. Paul and Cindy, you have a lovely place-the bedrooms are fantastic. The location is perfect and the apartment is charming. Three winners for restaurants include: Chez Boulay, D'Orsay Pub, and Paillards for croissants. I would definitely stay again. A beautiful place and city. Bob J. (Texas, USA)

How we have enjoyed our stay at Maison d'Ursulines and Vieux Quebec! We began our stay with a major tour and buy at the Vieux Marché, dining in each evening. For lunch we recommend Panache and Café du Monde. Paillard is the definitive bakery. Just steps away, but centuries apart, the Ursuline Museum is a treasure of female education in years past. Don't miss it. Another highlight was a cooking class at Atelier et Saveurs. A la prochaine... Best, The Gambles

Many, many thanks for a wonderful stay in a beautiful apartment- so much nicer than an impersonal hotel room. We truly felt a part of this lovely city. Thanks for answering all of our questions and for your tips about restaurants and must-sees. Just walking through Old Quebec a joy in itself, but we'd like to especially recommend the following: Marché du Vieux-Port, Galerie Brousseau et Brousseau (Inuit Art) just up the street, the museum of the Ursulines Convent across the street, Restaurant le Lapin Sauté, shopping on rue du Petit Champlain--and the list goes on! The location of Maison Ursulines is perfect. We walked everywhere and left the car parked for 3 days! We loved our stay at the Grand Residence and hope to return sometime in the future. I can't think of a better place from which to explore the wonders of Quebec City. Merci!! Hope to be back! Lucia

Wow! What a city. To be here where our country started and to touch the history has been incredible. We consider ourselves extremely fortunate to have had Maison Ursulines as our home base for the week. Planning our days and sharing meals round the table was a welcomed experience each day. Thank you for sharing your home. Merci beaucoup pour toute! Karole Anne

We fell in love with this beautiful spot in Old Quebec. Our family enjoyed many of the treasures this City offers. We walked, laughed, and had wonderful meals especially bakery from Paillards. Many thanks for our stay here - great memories we take with us. Thank you for opening your beautiful home to us. Here is a perfect location for all areas. The deli next door was great. Thank you for opening your beautiful home to us. Here is a perfect location for all areas. The deli next door was great. Living and dining rooms are just great rooms - we all quickly found our "area" and made it home. Thank you Ed for our great welcome and organizing taxis. Great to know he was always available. The La Maison experience has been amazing. Our youngest daughter getting married....being able to entertain here following the ceremony, enough room for the six of us and beautiful surroundings. An extremely positive experience for all of us! At the moment, it is snowing quite heavily, perhaps Quebec City will be our place of residence over Christmas! Thank you, thank you! This place is truly amazing. We will most definitely consider staying here again. Susan A
